I was obsessed with the selection series when I was younger, the drama! I was always indifferent about their covers, though, just a girl in a nice dress. So now that I have these skills, I decided to do something about it. The thought process behind it was to show a “high-class” activity, like embroidery, in a contemporary, almost grungy kind of way. I embroidered the visuals on the cover, then put everything together in InDesign.
